Bidders settle with you as they do today, by bank transfer, or by card through your own Stripe account, straight to you. Auctionomy never holds the money.
Questions houses ask
How much does Auctionomy cost?
One plan, with everything included, at the same price for every house, whatever its size or trade. It is billed monthly in US dollars wherever you are. Talk to us and we will give you the figure, with the founding partner discount if a place is still open.
Is anything charged on top?
No. There is no commission on the hammer price or your buyer's premium, no fee for each sale, lot or bid, and no extra charge for live video, voice or AI. If we add a feature, it is part of the same price.
Is there a limit on sales or lots?
No. Run as many sales as you hold and catalogue as many lots as you sell.
What does fair use of live video mean?
Live video is for your live sales. It streams to your bidders while the sale is running, and it is not recorded or kept for viewing later.
How do bidders pay us?
By bank transfer, as most houses are paid today: the bidder settles your invoice and you mark it paid. For card payments, you connect your own Stripe account and bidders pay you through it, so the money goes straight to you and Auctionomy never holds it.
Is there an annual contract?
No. Auctionomy is billed month by month. There is no annual plan and nothing to pay in advance.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Moving your catalogue and bidders across, and rehearsing your first sale with you, is part of the price.
What is founding partner pricing?
The first houses to join us receive a founding partner discount, given as a voucher code when you subscribe. In return we ask for honest feedback from a real saleroom. Talk to us to find out whether a place is still open.
We run more than one house. How does that work?
Talk to us about how your houses are set up. Each house keeps its own website, catalogue and bidders, and we will arrange the plan across your houses with you.
