Interesting cover, the 1946 Auburn cds may be a slug error ('1946' for '1940') as the HMS Terror was scuttled in February 1941 (all crew evacuated) and HMS Gould was sunk by U-boat in March 1944, the likely slug error argument is supported by the manuscript endorsement "7/10/40" at left side, in the same grey ink colour as the notation on the resealing tape; cover has some edge faults. | ![]() | A$100 |
