| 1880 Proof 60. Nice cameo effect and a superior reverse but there is evidence of handling typical of most proofs of the era. The main defect is light hairlines on the surfaces. Lovely peripheral toning on the obv. Of 1,355 minted, over 950 have been certified by PCGS and NGC (that number includes re-submissions) but the majority of those certified are not cameo. | 2 | $600 |

| 1871 XF attractive medium grey-brown original. | 2 | $500 |
| 1878 7 Tail Feathers Round Breast AU58 white. We've assigned a conservative grade to this coin. It is very appealing and would fit comfortably in a Mint State collection. | 2 | $100 |
| 1878-CC VAM-17 AU. A white attractive coin but this one has a slight bend or twist in it. VAM-17 has a doubled 1 in the date and two lines (engraver's scratches) going thru the eye of Liberty. | 2 | $160 |
| 1878-CC VF | 2 | $110 |
| 1879-O AU+ a nice example of this issue despite very light wear. Many 1879 to 1882 coins from the New Orleans Mint were released to circulation at or near the time they were struck, only to be re-bagged a short time later and placed into storage. When Morgan Dollars were being released by the Treasury in the 1950s and 1960s, most were bright uncirculated coins, but the New Orleans issues were often found with light circulation. As far as researchers can tell, the re-bagging practice was limited to the New Orleans Mint. No one knows the real reason this occured. | 2 | $60 |
| 1879-S Reverse of 1878 (Flat Breast) XF polished. In 1879, San Francisco used reverse dies left over from 1878 to strike a relatively small number of coins. High grade specimens of this variety are scarce. (The 1878 reverse die was also used to strike some 1880-CC dollars.) | 2 | $75 |
| 1881-S PCGS MS64 (OGH) white and attractive. | 2 | $75 |
| 1882-CC lovely natural VG+. There is a small rev rim hit at K4 o/w a beautiful grey. | 2 | $100 |
| 1882-CC MS60+ frosty white! | 2 | $240 |
| 1882-CC (GSA) MS60+ blast white incl box and papers. | 2 | $240 |
| 1883-CC MS60+ a blast white beauty! | 2 | $240 |
| 1883-CC (GSA) MS60+ white. Light diagonal carbon streaks on the obv the result of a flawed planchet. Still attractive. In the black box but lacks the paper. | 2 | $230 |
| 1883-O VAM-3A ANACS MS62. White w/ good eye appeal and arguably under-graded by ANACS. 3A is known for a doubled mintmark. | 2 | $62 |
| 1884-CC MS60 perhaps a bit better. Subtle champagne color. | 2 | $230 |
| 1884-S XF polished, still not bad for a date that becomes very pricey in high grade. | 2 | $62 |
| 1886-S AU+ white. Likely an AU55 if certified. | 2 | $160 |
| 1888-S AU white w/ a light 3mm gouge in the left obv field. | 2 | $150 |
| 1889-S AU+ white, lightly polished, still nice for a better date. | 2 | $125 |
